Vision has it all - striking, modern design, extended nape, reduced peak and a fully retractable visor. The Vision visor not only protects the eyes, but can be worn by all users, even spectacle wearers! This helmet, with its visor that is easy to pull down and retract, therefore gives employers the ideal way to provide instant eye protection to all workers without causing pauses in work flow.

The Centurion Vision helmet is approved and Kitemarked to EN 397 with the options:

  • Molten Metal Splash
  • 440V a.c. (also approved to 1000 V a.c)
  • -30°C (also approved to -40°C)

The Vision visor is approved to EN 166 with the option B (Medium Energy Impact)

The award presentation was made at Safety & Health Expo 2001 at the NEC Birmingham on 21 May by Sir John Cullen, President of the BSIF and former Chairman of the Health & Safety Commision.

GENERAL PURPOSE HEAD PROTECTION

Centurion's range of general purpose helmets offers an unrivalled level of assured protection. The precision moulded shells guard against impact while being light, well balanced and extremely comfortable. Within their design, attention to lasting wearer comfort is paramount.

The 1125, 1125 Reduced Peak (which provides enhanced upwards visibility with no loss of protection) have comfortable brushed nylon sweatbands and come in a choice of colours.

The 1100 and 1100 Reduced Peak come complete with an economical lightweight plastic cradle. Because they are fully compatible with the Centurion Connect range of Accessories they enable you to extend vital protection to face and ears.

Bump Cap

The Centurion Bump Cap provides lightweight head protection where high-impact resistance is not essential but where there is a risk of minor bumps or scrapes to the head. It is not to be used as an industrial safety helmet.

  • The design which is available in five colours

Bump Cap


CoolCap Baseball Bump Cap
  • Is a fashionable workwear item as well as giving maximum comfort during prolonged use
  • The new design Baseball Cap is fitted over an ABS liner to provide lightweight head protection where high impact resistance is not essential, but there is a risk of minor bumps or scrapes to the head.
  • The CoolCap incorporates many new features and benefits, in particular large ventilation mesh panels, providing the maximum ventilation allowed within EN 812.
  • The ventilation panels are on each side of the cap, thereby providing a improved flow of air, both reducing heat build up and increasing user comfort.
  • The CoolCap comes fitted with a foam insert either side of the cap for additional comfort and side impact protection - making the sides of the CoolCap 45% more shock absorbent compared to a standard ABS liner. These side foam inserts are optional and are not necessary for the EN 812 test performance - so can be removed it preferred.
  • Available in six colours: red, green, black, navy blue, royal blue, high visibility orange

CAP 2000 Baseball Bump Cap

The Centurion Baseball Bump Cap provides lightweight head protection while also doubling as a fashionable, comfortable piece of workwear. The look and feel of the Baseball Bump Cap makes it more acceptable for employees to wear, compared to the conventional plastic cap.

  • The design which is available in five attractive colours incorporates a stylish cotton baseball cap with ABS protective shell.
  • The shell and cap ensure that the CAP 2000 fits comfortably and securely for a prolonged period of time.
  • Headband-mounted ear defenders and goggles or spectacles can be worn to provide combined head, eye and hearing protection.
  • The added features of this model include a high level of ventilation (up to the maximum allowed within EN 812) to supply increased airflow.
  • The peak is also moulded to enable you to shape it to your personal preference and the peak length has been reduced for enhanced upward visibility.
  • We have provided a rear Velcro adjustment strap for ease of use with an easy tuck-in strap slot.

    Centurion's Vulcan safety helmets are made from an advanced fibreglass material offering impact resistance with a high level of protection against lateral crushing combined with being light weight. This material is ideal for use in industries where there is a risk from high levels of radiant heat. The high quality cradle and headband ensure that they remain stable and secure when worn and so provide maximum wearer protection and comfort.
